Henry E. Howell Jr.

Henry E. Howell Jr., lieutenant governor of Virginia from December 1971 to January 1974, is the subject of this portrait by Kenneth Harris. Howell filled the unexpired term of J. Sargeant Reynolds, who died of a brain tumor in June 1971. This painting is part of the State Art Collection of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
