Readjuster Ticket.

An 1881 broadside lists some of the Readjuster Party candidates running for statewide office in the upcoming November election. All of these Readjuster candidates—William E. Cameron for governor, John F. Lewis for lieutenant governor, Frank S. Blair for attorney general, and Robert Norton for delegate from Williamsburg and the counties of James City, York, Warwick, and Elizabeth City—won in the 1881 election. Robert Norton was the only Black candidate among this slate of candidates.
