Part of Jefferson Ward Richmond

This hand-colored city map shows part of Jefferson Ward in Richmond, a commercial district that abutted the James River and included a high concentration of tobacco warehouses, factories, and other industrial sites. The topographical engineer George William Baist published this map in his Atlas of the City of Richmond Virginia and Vicinity (1889).
