Class Involving Drafting Skills

A teacher instructs a student, John Sanders (at right), in the art of drafting, a useful skill in securing a job as a draftsman for an engineering firm, other private industries, or civil service opportunities. This is a hands-on classroom scene in 1965 at the newly established Northern Virginia Technical College in Fairfax County.
