Saint Louis Street in New Orleans

A sign on Saint Louis Street in New Orleans's French Quarter notes that when the city was the capital of Spanish Louisiana from 1762 to 1803, the street name was Calle de San Luis. The sign, made of Spanish ceramic tiles, includes an image of the lesser royal coat of arms of Spain.
