1885 Election Returns for Surry County

An official ledger kept by the Virginia Board of State Canvassers notes that William Faulcon defeated his opponent, Richard D. Gilliam, in the 1885 election for Surry County's seat in the House of Delegates. Faulcon garnered 954 votes to Gilliam's 718.
