Smith Steven’s Revolutionary War Pension

This is the Revolutionary War pension of Smith Stephens, a soldier with the 15th Virginia Regiment who, according to this document, was “disabled in the service of the United States by a wound which occasioned the loss of one of his legs.” The General Assembly awarded Stephens the pension, granting him twelve pounds a year starting in 1786.
