Pray Remember the Blind

This 1801 print shows a blind man, eyes closed, mouth open, face turned upwards, begging from two well-dressed women. He wears a note around his neck describing his condition. The women appear to be annoyed by his interference. The artist, Thomas Rowlandson, was known for his caricatures, London street scenes, and humorous social commentary.
