Patawomeck Eel Pot Apprenticeship
Patawomeck archaeologist and craftsman Brad Hatch spent a year teaching two young Patawomeck tribe members, David Onks IV and Reagan Andersen, how to make traditional eel pots. Patawomeck fishers historically used eel pots, hand woven from white oak strips, to catch eels to trade, sell, or use as bait.
