In the summer of 2008, a statue honoring leaders of Virginia's civil rights movement was dedicated on the Capitol Square grounds in Richmond. With Good Reason dedicated an episode to the event. The episode features conversation with Oliver Hill Jr. of Virginia State University, whose father, Oliver W. Hill, was the Richmond attorney who argued the landmark case Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas before the U.S. Supreme Court. Additionally, the episode explores the conflicting emotions of the time, specifically among moderates in Norfolk and Richmond.
