Plano de la Cuidad de Nueva – Orleans

A circa 1799 map titled Plano de la Cuidad de Nueva–Orleans (Plan of the City of New Orleans) depicts the strategic port city on the Mississippi River while it was under Spanish rule. Fortifications surround the entire city.
