Jimmy Dean

This is a 1966 publicity photo of Jimmy Dean, a well-known country music singer, actor, television presenter, and cofounder of the Jimmy Dean Sausage Company, which he helped popularize with a series of genial television commercials. Though born in West Texas, Dean spent a good part of his adult life in Virginia; he died in Varina in 2010.
