Interview with Robert Bausch

Robert Bausch, a novelist, short-story writer, and professor at Northern Virginia Community College, speaks about the writing life, his views on fishing and religion, and his dealings with Hollywood. Bausch brought a lawsuit against the producers of Bruce Almighty (2003), a popular film starring Jim Carrey. The author contended that the film had been based on his novel Almighty Me! (1991) and that he had not been properly compensated. This interview originally aired April 24, 2004, on With Good Reason, a radio program produced by the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities and hosted by Sarah McConnell.
