CONTEXT

FULL TEXT

§ 4547. Person performing ceremony of marriage between; how punished.—If any person perform the ceremony of marriage between a white person and a colored person, he shall forfeit two hundred dollars, of which the informer shall half one-half. (Code 1887, § 3789.)
