Descendant of Cuthbert Bullitt?

This portrait, published in Louisville's First Families: A Series of Genealogical Sketches (1920) by Kathleen Jennings, is identified as that of Virginia planter and Revolutionary-era politician Cuthbert Bullitt. However, the style of suit worn by the subject of the portrait suggests that the image was made in the early 1800s, decades after Bullitt’s death in 1791. This may be a portrait of Bullitt’s grandson, also named Cuthbert.
