Burning of Jamestown

In 2019 the Jamestown Yorktown Foundation produced a short film about Bacon’s Rebellion for use in their galleries. This photograph depicts the famous burning of Jamestown. The film adds historical nuance to the story of Bacon’s Rebellion while drawing from the dramatic sources which have given it lasting public interest.
