Buena Vista Clean-Up After Hurricane Camille

A worker in Buena Vista uses a rigged garden tractor to clear the debris from a store and push it onto the street. Buena Vista, a small independent city nestled between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Maury River, was left under six feet of water after the remnants of Hurricane Camille pounded the city with torrential rain on the night of August 19-20, 1969.
