Athletics at the Virginia Industrial School for Colored Girls

At top, residents of the Virginia Industrial School for Colored Girls cheer on their fellow students during a baseball game. Two teams, representing different buildings on campus, are shown at bottom right and left. The school was established to foster domestic and agricultural skills, as well as to promote physical exercise and religious activities.
