In "Chancellor Wythe's Death," chapter 28 of The Two Parsons; Cupid's Sports; the Dream; and the Jewels of Virginia (1884), George Wythe Munford describes the circumstances surrounding the alleged murder of George Wythe in 1806. He also provides a transcript of Wythe's will. Munford's father, William Munford, was a student of Wythe and delivered his public eulogy. The Two Parsons, published posthumously, followed the author and his two friends, the Reverends James D. Blair and John Buchanan, on a series of humorous adventures.
