Cavalry Charge at Brandy Station

In this drawing by Edwin Forbes, a wartime artist for Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper, Union cavalry troops charge during the Battle of Brandy Station on June 9, 1863. The surprise attack turned into the largest cavalry engagement of the Civil War.
