Le Messager

The cover of the February 20, 1919, edition of Le Messager (The Messenger), a periodical published in Paris, promotes its story on "Le Croix-Rouge Américaine en France," or the American Red Cross in France. This journal belonged to  Emily Wayland Dinwiddie, a social worker who joined the Red Cross in France in 1918; it is part of the Dinwiddie family papers at the University of Virginia.
