Cactus Hill Discoveries

A cluster of blades, ancient stone tools from the Clovis or pre-Clovis ages, are displayed above a scale that indicates their size in centimeters and inches. Archaeologists unearthed these artifacts during excavations that took place from 1993 to 2002 at the Cactus Hill site in Sussex County. This photograph was taken in the mid-1990s.
