Bust of George Mason

A bust of George Mason, influential Virginia lawmaker and author of the state's first constitution and its Declaration of Rights, is shown in this photograph that was displayed at the 1939 World's Fair held in New York City. Photographs celebrating the state's history and industry were collected and bound into volumes and put on exhibit in the Virginia Room at the fair.
