Richmond Light Infantry Blues on Parade

The Richmond Light Infantry Blues march in formation on the parade grounds of the Jamestown Ter-Centennial Exposition in Norfolk on June 12, 1907, as part of the events celebrating "Virginia Day" during the international fair. The militia group wore their distinctive uniforms, which featured white breastplates, epaulets, and tall, flat-topped dress hats with long feather plumes (called shakos).
