Letter to Governor James Taylor Ellyson

In a letter dated December 6, 1906, Stith Bolling, major general of the Virginia division of the United Confederate Veterans, offers Governor James Taylor Ellyson the position of chief of artillery in the veterans organization. (Ellyson agreed to take on the role.) The letterhead includes an image of the flag of Virginia intertwined with a Confederate flag.
