Robinson, of Elizabeth City County (he also represented the counties of James City, Warwick, and York, and the city of Williamsburg); Goodman Brown, of Surry County; Nathaniel M. Griggs, of Prince Edward County; William H. Ash, of Nottoway County; and Britton Baskervill Jr. (misspelled here as Baskerville) of Mecklenburg County. This photograph was published in Luther Porter Jackson's Negro Office-Holders in Virginia, 1865–1895 (1945-1946).
