Richmond & Danville RR

A nineteenth-century map from the Virginia Board of Public Works shows the route of the Richmond and Danville Railroad. The railroad line connected Richmond with Danville, a city in Southside Virginia which is roughly 160 miles southwest of the state capital. (This map does not reflect the north-south geographical position of the two cities.)
