Fredson Bowers at the Hinman Collator

University of Virginia English professor and noted bibliographer Fredson Bowers supervises graduate student Matthew Bruccoli on the Hinman Collator at Alderman Library. Using this machine, Bruccoli is able carefully to check two copies of a similar text against each other and quickly to identify discrepancies or differences.
