Lawes Divine, Morall and Martiall, &c.
The title page of William Strachey's For The Colony in Virginea Britannia. Lawes Divine, Morall and Martiall, &c., published in London in 1612, bears the coat of arms of the English monarch. Strachey served briefly as secretary of the English colony at Jamestown and he subsequently compiled and published the laws that regulated the colony. These are the earliest extant English-language body of laws in the western hemisphere.
