1910 Census Page for Mattaponi Reservation
This special form from the 1910 U.S. Census was used to count the Indigenous population of the United States, including people living on and off reservations. The people listed on this page were residents of the Mattaponi Indian Reservation in King William County. The form included special instructions for difficulties that may arise in completing a census for Indigenous people, noting that “they frequently reckon their ages from notable events occurring in the history of the respective tribes.”
