Tobacco Industry in Richmond

A tobacco label issued by the British-American Tobacco Company, a successor to the American Tobacco Company, depicts its large-scale manufacturing operation in Richmond about 1902. The international company took over the manufacturing plant originally operated by P. H. Mayo & Company, a Richmond firm.
