Abrahall Family Coat of Arms
The coat of arms for the Abrahall family of Herefordshire features three hedgehogs on an azure field. Samuel Kent, an authority in the field of heraldry, described the meaning of the design in his book The Grammar of Heraldry (1716): "The bearing of a Hedghog, signifies a provident Man, who watchfully lays Wait for, and Hold on, every Opportunity to advance himself."
