Mass Shootings at Virginia Tech
The cover of Mass Shootings at Virginia Tech: Report of the Review Panel Presented to Governor Kaine, Commonwealth of Virginia, features photographs of a candlelight vigil held at the school the day after the April 16, 2007, killing of twenty-seven students and five faculty members and the injuring of more than seventeen others. Seung-Hui Cho, a student with a history of emotional and mental health problems, was the lone assailant. He took his own life, ending the rampage. The governor's review panel investigated the shootings and aftermath and issued this 260-page report.
