Virginia Tech Massacre Memorial

Thirty-two memorial stones are arranged in a semicircle and etched with the names of those who died in the mass shooting at Virginia Tech University on April 16, 2007. The memorials are made of polished Hokie Stone, a limestone rock quarried near the campus in Blacksburg. Many of the university's buildings are constructed with the same stone.
