Class Attendance Record

An attendance sheet dated June 2, 1828, notes that Alexander H. H. Stuart, then studying law at the University of Virginia, was never absent from his classes on law and medical jurisprudence. Signed by the faculty chairman George Tucker, the report was sent to Stuart's father, Judge Archibald Stuart, of Staunton.
