Oliver Wolcott Jr., who served as secretary of the Treasury (1795–1800) and governor of Connecticut (1817–1827), is the subject of this portrait by Gilbert Stuart. This painting was a copy of an earlier portrait of Wolcott made by artist John Vanderlyn.
