This is the title page of Mogan Godwyn's The Negro's & Indians Advocate, Suing for Their Admission into the Church (1680), a book intended, as the subtitle states, to be "A Persuasive to the Instructing and Baptizing of the Negro's and Indians in our Plantations." Before writing the book, Godwyn had served as an Anglican minister in Virginia and Barbados.
