The College of the City of New York

This glass-plate photograph taken between 1900 and 1910 depicts a gateway that opens onto the Collegiate Gothic campus of the College of the City of New York. This campus is located on a hill above Harlem in upper Manhattan. The school, now commonly referred to as the City College of New York, is a public college that is part of the larger entity known as the City University of New York (CUNY).
