This is the front page of the November 3, 1802, edition of the Richmond Recorder. Beneath the newspaper's title a line notes that the newspaper was "published every Wednesday Morning" by coeditors Henry Pace and James T. Callender. Formerly associated with the Richmond Examiner, Callender acquired a part interest in the Recorder in February 1802 but withdrew from the publication in April 1803. He drowned in the James River three months later.
