Portrait of Jackson Davis

Helen Davis Lynch and Ruth Davis Langhorne present an oil portrait of their father, Jackson Davis, to an unidentified man, probably a school official from Henrico County. This portrait, painted by Ruth Davis Langhorne, was to hang in the county's Jackson Davis Elementary School, a new school named after Davis, an influential educator in the first half of the twentieth century.
