General James Longstreet

Confederate general James Longstreet poses in uniform for an unknown photographer in the nineteenth century. Longstreet served as Robert E. Lee's second-in-command for most of Lee's tenure as commander of the Army of Northern Virginia, and Lee affectionately called him "my old war horse."
