The Whole Duty of Man, Laid Down In a Plain and Familiar Way for the Use of All, but especially the MEANEST READER.

This is the title page of the 1758 edition of The Whole Duty of Man (1658), a Protestant devotional text. The book was published anonymously, but many scholars believe that Richard Allestree was the author. The title page notes that this book is "Necessary for all Families."
