Colgate W. Darden in His Final Years

An elderly Colgate W. Darden wears academic robes during an unidentified event. Darden served as the chancellor of the College of William and Mary from 1946 to 1947, and as the president of the University of Virginia from 1947 to 1959. He died in 1981.
