Seated Woman Reading

In 1903, the Richmond artist and political activist Adèle Clark drew this charcoal portrait of an unidentified woman reading. The artist signed and dated the work in the lower right hand corner. This drawing is part of a collection of Clark's artwork at the Virginia Historical Society.
