Secretariat in the Paddock at the Belmont Stakes

Groom Ed Sweat walks the thoroughbred Secretariat around the paddock at the Belmont Stakes on June 9, 1973. Secretariat won the race that day by thirty-one lengths and set a record for time (two minutes twenty-four seconds) on the 1.5-mile dirt track, clinching the Triple Crown.
