Richmond’s Third Street Bethel A. M. E. Church

This 2011 photograph depicts Third Street Bethel Church, a historic African Methodist Episcopal Church located in the Jackson Ward neighborhood of Richmond. The original church, built in 1857, was remodeled in Victorian Gothic fashion in 1875. The structure is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
