William Hunter’s Virginia Gazette

The masthead of the January 31, 1751, edition of William Hunter's Virginia Gazette bears a misspelled version of the newspaper's subtitle, "With the freshest Advices, Foreign and Domestic." The mistake appeared in two issues of the weekly paper and was corrected in the February 7, 1751, edition.
