Band of 107th U.S. Colored Infantry.

In November 1865, members of the 107th U.S. Colored Infantry band pose with their instruments at Fort Corcoran in Arlington. At least 5,723 African American soldiers were mustered into service in Virginia for combat and non-combat positions in the Union army during the Civil War.
